BREAKING: Soprom Hotel Onitsha Just Got Burnt (VIDEO)

The Sopurum Hotel in the Nkwelle neighborhood of the commercial metropolis of Onitsha, Anambra State, was completely destroyed by fire, consuming a sizable portion of the building. Although the fire's origin is yet unknown, it is believed to have started on Monday about 4:30 am. Indonesia's air force seeded cloud with salt on Friday to try to stop rainfall reaching the slowing sinking capital after deadly flash floods and landslides triggered by some of the heaviest rain ever recorded. Traders at Kenyatta Market by Adelabu Street, Uwani, Enugu, whose shops were gutted by fire last week, on Friday, paid a Thank-you visit to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi at the Government House, Enugu. Fire kills 3 kids left in the shop by their mom in Anambra (Pics)

Three children of the same mother were, this afternoon, killed in a fire accident along High Tension School Road, Ugwuagba-Obosi, Anambra State. According to the police, the fire started around 2:15 pm inside two containers used as shop and apartment. . Their mother, Blessing Nwafor, had left three of her children namely Chimierie, 5, Onyedika, 4, and Esther, 3, inside the container and stepped out before tragedy struck. . The cause of the fire is not yet known but the charred remains of the victims have since been taken to Bex Hospital mortuary.

A Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Apo has ordered a Yahoo boy, Edwin Ogbomwan (aka Thomas Jerry Stars), to forfeit iPhone X and car, a Toyota Camry 2006 model to the Federal Government. Justice D. Senchi also sentenced the convict to two months in prison with the option of paying N1m fine.
