No Country Enjoys 24hrs Electricity Better Than Nigerians Since Buhari Took Over – Fashola

The Minister of Power, Babatunde Fashola, has revealed that Nigerians now get more volumes of electricity supplied to their homes and offices, insisting that at the moment, most commercial and residential consumers of electricity have packed up their alternative power supply sources for grid electricity, which he claimed has improved tremendously.

According to source, speaking during the August 2018 edition of the monthly power sector operators meeting in Umuahia, Abia State, the minister claimed Nigerians now spend less money to procure alternative power.

“We are on a journey to a destination of promise and eventual prosperity and I use this occasion to salute the efforts and contributions of all those who have brought us this far.

Even if those who were most vocal in condemnation when the situation appeared very dire are now uttering some muted acknowledgment that it has improved.
No Country Enjoy 24hrs Electricity Better Than Nigerians Since Buhari Took Over.

We must continue to draw inspiration from well-meaning and right thinking Nigerians who were gracious enough to publicly acknowledge that: they are saving some money from diesel they used to spend for generators.

They are running their generators for fewer hours; and they are getting comparably more power than before. It is because of those gracious and well-meaning and right thinking Nigerians that we must dig deeper, work harder and be more determined to improve service delivery,” he said.

To ask what the true meaning of life is is somehow uncomfortable. Prophet banished over death of a woman he bathed and poured substance in her private part

Police: Prophet now faces murder charge The Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe and his council of chiefs have banished a prophet, Oni Olakanye, from the town over the death of a woman seeking spiritual help in his custody. Olakanye, of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Palace of Mercy, Olokuta, Ado-Ekiti, was said to have carried out a “spiritual cleansing” on the woman, simply identified as Mrs. Olawale. The woman was said to have come all the way from Lagos to seek Olakanye’s help over her inability to conceive after over seven years of marriage. The case was reported to the Ewi’s palace by her relatives after she took ill and her health deteriorated after the spiritual cleansing in Olakanye’s church. The woman told the palace investigation committee and her relatives that Olakanye ordered her to remove her panties and placed a mirror under her private parts, which she said the prophet described as “spiritual examination.” Olakanye allegedly asked Mrs. Omowale to ta...

Mount Agung Eruption Is Happening & Could Get Worse

Despite Bali’s Mount Agung volcano spewing huge plumes of volcanic ash, and lava, experts warn complacency is the island’s biggest enemy and that the worst is yet to come, including blinding ashfall and flying rocks that spew out of the volcano. “This is an eruption, this is 100 per cent an eruption,” volcanologist Dr Janine Krippner told news.com.au. “Lava is coming out of the volcano, there’s definitely enough to cause trouble. This can get much worse, you can’t outrun this.” For months, magma inside Bali’s giant, belching volcano has been gradually rising to the top of the volcano, forcing the gigantic structure to rumble and shake. Agung’s last eruptions in 1963 produced deadly clouds of searing hot ash, gases and rock fragments that travelled down its slopes at great speed. About 1100 people died in total. Lava spread for several kilometres and people were also killed by lahars — rivers of water and volcanic debris also described as cold lava. But the pyroclastic flows are...
