No Country Enjoys 24hrs Electricity Better Than Nigerians Since Buhari Took Over – Fashola

The Minister of Power, Babatunde Fashola, has revealed that Nigerians now get more volumes of electricity supplied to their homes and offices, insisting that at the moment, most commercial and residential consumers of electricity have packed up their alternative power supply sources for grid electricity, which he claimed has improved tremendously.


According to source, speaking during the August 2018 edition of the monthly power sector operators meeting in Umuahia, Abia State, the minister claimed Nigerians now spend less money to procure alternative power.

“We are on a journey to a destination of promise and eventual prosperity and I use this occasion to salute the efforts and contributions of all those who have brought us this far.

Even if those who were most vocal in condemnation when the situation appeared very dire are now uttering some muted acknowledgment that it has improved.

We must continue to draw inspiration from well-meaning and right thinking Nigerians who were gracious enough to publicly acknowledge that: they are saving some money from diesel they used to spend for generators.

They are running their generators for fewer hours; and they are getting comparably more power than before. It is because of those gracious and well-meaning and right thinking Nigerians that we must dig deeper, work harder and be more determined to improve service delivery,” he said.

Staring at the prospect of a recession for the first time in almost 30 years, Nigeria’s government is struggling to fund its budget, which it hoped would stimulate an economy that is reeling from the impact of low oil prices. Man Released By Ritualists After 2 Years In Ibadan Because He Wasn't Useful (Photos)

Dayo Ajala released from ritualist den  A Nigerian man who reportedly spent 2 years in ritualists den, has been released by his captors because he wasn't useful. He was reportedly dropped along BCJ road, Apata area of Ibadan. ConnectIbadan who shared a video of him, wrote;     "A Good Samaritan, Miss Opeyemi was passing by along BCJ road, Apata area of Ibadan and found people gathered around a man that was dropped by kidnappers/ritualist.     The short video conducted by the Good Samaritan showed that he had been kidnapped for the past 2 years but when it was his turn to be used for ritual they said he is not useful and that there are still a lot of people in the captivity of the ritualist den.     His name is Dayo Ajala and further interview also confirmed that he attended Oke Nla Grammar School, Ogun State.     Anybody with useful information about his family or relatives should go to that area or the nearest police station....
