Armed and masked officials of the Department of State Services have blocked access into the National Assembly complex. The security operatives arrived at the complex as early as 6.00 am.

The armed men have prevented staff, legislators and journalists from entering the complex. Senators Ben Murray Bruce, Biodun Olujimi and Rafiu Ibrahim are among those blocked.

Journalists were also barred from entering the complex as a result of what the DSS allegedly said is an order “from above”.PRESIDENT MUHAMMAD BUHARI

The Ethopia parliament has adopted revisions to its existing refugee law, making it one of the most progressive refugee policies in Africa.
