“Don’t Come With Charms”, Oil Company Says In Job Test Invite.

Don’t Come With Charms”, Oil Company Says In Job Test Invite.

A charm to pass interview

We know the unemployment situation is on the high side, however, we never knew it has taken a new dimension.

A top indigenous upstream oil and gas company invited candidates for a test (over 42,000 applied).

One of the requirements stated in the invite is: “charms will not be allowed”.

This means candidates may have been caught wearing charms during previous recruitment.

There is also a rumor about yet another firm that invited candidates for an interview, and some were caught with charms around their waists.

It looks like job hunting in Nigeria is becoming a war!

However, you don’t need charms to pass aptitude tests, interviews, or assessment center exercises, but you probably need specialized coaching on all to scale through successfully.
And these services are available in Nigeria.

Do you believe in charm?

BREAKING: Plane of Missing Soccer Player Emiliano Sala Is Found in the English Channel

The wreckage of the plane that vanished with the footballer Emiliano Sala on board has been found within hours of a search starting in the sea off the Channel Islands. A search boat hired privately by Sala’s Argentinian family – thanks partly to a crowdfunding appeal – located the wreckage on Sunday morning. The crew passed the details of the location on to government investigators, who used a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) to examine the spot. There was no immediate official confirmation of what was found but the shipwreck specialist leading the private investigation, David Mearns, said the plane had been discovered. No information about whether any bodies were in the plane was given. Two seat covers from the aircraft washed up last week on the coast of France. UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) will probably make a statement on Monday. The Piper Malibu N264DB carrying 28-year-old Sala and the pilot, David Ibbotson, 59, disappeared over the Chann

Ethiopia applauded for its progressive refugee integration law

The Ethopia parliament has adopted revisions to its existing refugee law, making it one of the most progressive refugee policies in Africa. The revised framework strives for refugee integration, allowing refugees to obtain work permits, access primary education, obtain drivers’ licenses, national financial services such as banking among others. Low and middle income countries like Ethiopia host 85% of the global refugee population. Refugee compacts or ‘jobs compacts’ or Economic Opportunities Programs are agreements between donors and governments that host refugees to mitigate the expenses for their already struggling economies. These grants, concessional loans and other incentives are used to stimulate economic development and enable host countries to provide basic services to refugees and local populations. As the second-largest refugee-hosting country in Africa, Ethiopia is currently the host of over 900,000 refugees mainly from neighbouring South Sudan
